Luke Tomlinson (D.O.B 27 January 1977) Captain of England and 7 Goal player. Captain also of the Apes Hill High Goal team. Represented his country and various levels on numerous occasions. Luke is a third generation polo player, because his maternal grandfather, Arthur Lucas, was a player as were his wife and three children, Pat, John and Claire.

Lukes successes in England include wins in the Queen's, Silver Jubilee, Royal Windsor, Harrison, Jack Gannon, County, Arthur Lucas, Argentine Club Cup, Bryan Bethell, Gerald Balding Cup and last but not least, Cowdray Park's Gold Cup. He also took the Prince Philip and the John Cowdray trophies in Argentina, where he has a base of operations. Luke won the Metropolitano Medium Handicap in Deauville, the Coupe d'Or. Other highlights include qualifying twice to compete in the Argentine and Hurlingham Club's Open Championship and being on the international team that defeated Argentina on Palermo's hallowed turf in 2002. His most recent highlight was the captaining of England in the 2009 Westchester Cup where England beat USA 10-9 in Floridas Palm Beach.
